Develop the Faces Draw the eyes with the Burnt Umber and Ivory Black
colored pencils, leaving the pupils as white paper. If you accidentally fill in
the highlight, scratch it out with the tip of a craft knife. Detail the faces
with a 4H pencil. Use the Ivory Black colored pencil to add details to the
black feathers on the heads and under the beaks.

Add Feathers
Detail the wings by separating the flight feathers with the Gunmetal colored pencil
and burnish with Chinese White. Fill in the beaks with the Golden Brown colored
pencil. Scratch out some white wispy feathers on top of the cheeks with the tip of the
craft knife. Add touches of green to the background with the May Green pastel pencil
and blend with a cotton swab.
