Add Tone
Begin adding tone with the 2B pencil, using short, rounded strokes. Use very light
pressure for the fleece, and heavier pressure for darker areas such as the eyes. The
highlight of the eye should be left as plain paper, or you can scratch it out with the tip
of a craft knife.

Blend
Continue adding fleece as you did in step 2. Begin blending with a tortillion, still us-
ing short, rounded strokes. Add some areas of fleece by “drawing” them in with the
point of the dirty tortillion.
