Piglet Shapes
Piglets have stocky, firm bodies with short legs that end in delicate, cloven hooves
with a large dew claw at the back.
Here are some things to keep in mind when drawing hooved mammals such
as fawns, foals, lambs and piglets. As with the smaller mammals we looked
at in Chapter 5, these animals have great variation in their fur. Lambs have
soft wool while piglets have sparse bristles. Hooved mammals have eyes
placed far to the sides of their long muzzles.
