Sketch and Transfer
With a 2B pencil, sketch the shape of the mouse on tracing paper, using either the ba-
sic shapes method or the grid method. The head is egg-shaped and is large in propor-
tion to the body. The eyes are round and bulge from the sockets slightly. Tape your
sketch to a window or a light box and tape your drawing paper over the top. The light
should shine through, allowing you to see your sketch (you may have to darken the
sketch lines). With the Copper Beech colored pencil, trace the sketch.
