Soften the highlights with the eraser. Add more shading with a dirty tortillion.
3 Add Darks Draw the darks of the ears, feet and mask with the 2B pencil.
Add the hairs in the lighter areas with the 4H pencil. Blend with the tortilli-
on. Be sure to leave a thin, lighter rim around the eyes. Lift out lights on the
feet with the eraser.
4 Fill In the Fur
Fill in the remaining fur with the 2B pencil. Use the 4H pencil for hairs in the white
areas, such as above the mask. Add a shadow under the raccoon and blend with a fa-
cial tissue wrapped around your finger. Add a slight indication of the rear foot that is
hidden behind the body by adding a darker shadow area.
