On your tracing paper, sketch the basic shapes of the kitten with the 2B pencil. Once
you are happy with the sketch, transfer only the necessary lines to the white paper,
making sure to use the less textured side of the paper.

Refine the Drawing
With the charcoal pencil, begin to refine the drawing. Use the 2B drawing pencil for
the facial features. Blend with a tortillion. Use the dirty tortillion to add light tone.
