Campo-based outfitters located on the right just before you arrive in town. Guides lead
horse-riding trips (one/two hours €17/30), hikes (half-day €7 per person) and treetop ad-
ventures (€12). You can also rent mountain bikes here if you'd like to head off on your
own (€5/17 per hour/day). The wooden shack also has a few tables outside, where snacks
are served.

€17.50; year-round; ) This private facility has oak-shaded sites, a laundry, a pool, a
minimercado (grocery shop), tennis courts, a swimming pool (closed Mondays), a good
restaurant (open to the public) and bikes to hire (€15 for half a day). Best of all are the
lovely ecofriendly bungalows, with French doors opening onto unrivalled mountain
views. Book ahead in August. Look for the turn-off to the right after passing the village,
which is about 500m away.

Campo's woodland hostel, 1km from the main roundabout, began life as a temporary
dam-workers' camp and now offers a spotless selection of spartan four-bed dormitories in
wooden buildings at the bottom of the hill, stylish doubles (with huge bathrooms) in the
main building and roomier bungalows (that sleep four) with kitchen units. Meals are also
available, upon request.
