Meia Praia
, the vast expanse of sand to the east of town, has outlets offering sailboard rental
and water-skiing lessons, plus several laid-back restaurants and beach bars. South of town

cluded, lapped by calm waters and punctuated with amazing grottoes, coves and towers of
coloured sandstone. A ferry runs from the waterfront in Lagos to Meia Praia.

centre and has good facilities; surfing companies head to the
west coast for the waves.

you catch a wave and head to where there are suitable swells. Children must be accom-
panied by a family member over 14 years of age. It also rents out wetsuits (€5 per day)
