travesseiro
(pillow), which is light puff pastry turned, rolled and folded seven
times, then filled with delicious almond-and-egg-yolk cream and lightly dusted with sugar.

bakery, where Sintra's famous
queijadas
were made, has cherub-covered ceilings and a
rambling interior, making it a fine spot for pastries or lighter fare (with a different soup,
