In-Depth Information
La Brace €
( 0974 82 16 05; Via A. De Gasperi 60; meals €15, pizzas from €3; Sat-Thu)
There's no sea or historic centre view from this simple trattoria on a bustling sidestreet but
who cares when the food is this good. It's best for pizza or any of the seafood dishes; eat
in the candy- coloured dining room or tranquil back terrace. Very popular with boisterous
Italian families at weekends so possibly not the place to whisper sweet nothings to your
date.
CAMPANIAN
Il Gambero €€
( 0974 82 28 94; Via Lungomare San Marco 234; meals from €25; Wed-Mon)
Located across from Agropoli's long sandy beach, get here early to grab a table out front
and enjoy the sun setting over Sorrento with Capri twinkling in the distance. Specialities
include seafood mixed salad, pasta with clams and pumpkin, and fried mixed fish. Al-
though there are some non-seafood dishes, it is the fish that, justifiably, enjoys star billing.
Reservations are recommended.
