crowd who head here for the disco beats and karaoke nights, accompanied by Guinness on
tap. The party atmosphere continues late into the night, while the bacon-and-eggs break-
fast is a suitable reviver.

ant cafe covers half the square and offers the best people-watching in town. It serves stiff

hall, Teatro Tasso is home to the Sorrento Musical , a sentimental 75-minute revue of
Neapolitan classics such as 'O Sole Mio' and 'Trona a Sorrent'.
Shopping
The pedestrian-only centro storico (historic centre) is the place to shop. Look out for in-
laid wood, Murano glass jewellery and embroidery (including smocked children's
dresses).
Unless otherwise stated, the following shops open all day until late in summer and close
for lunch in winter.
