The primary goal of this project was to gain insight on the customers and
use this knowledge to design differentiated business strategies for better customer
handling. The first move in this direction by the bank's executives was the
assignment of the management of the derived segments to distinct managers and
dedicated teams. The tasks of segmentation managers included the monitoring of
the evolution of each segment through derived KPIs and the design of specialized
marketing strategies.
