In-Depth Information
Ölüdeniz
With its sheltered lagoon lying between a spit of sandy beach, lush national park and Baba
Dağ (Mt Baba), it's easy to see why this beach town is a major cog in the Turquoise Coast's
tourist machine. A boat trip to Ölüdeniz ( Click here ; pronounced ' eu -leu-den-eez') from
Fethiye, or a walk from the Greek ghost town of Kayaköy, is highly recommended. The
curving beach and green slopes are a dramatic sight, and 1960m-high Mt Baba is capped
with snow until April.
