Ölüdeniz
0252 / POP 4595
With its sheltered (and protected) lagoon beside a lush national park, a long spit of sandy
beach and Baba Dağ (Mt Baba) casting its shadow across the sea, Ölüdeniz, 15km south
of Fethiye, is a tourist association's dream come true. Accordingly, many people think
package tourism has turned the motionless charms of the 'Dead Sea' into a Paradise Lost,
but Ölüdeniz' allure is undeniable.
