offering uncrowded access to the Asclepion, ancient Rome's pre-eminent medical centre,
and the mountainside Acropolis.
Sights & Activities
Bergama's attractions open from 8.30am to 6.30pm daily between June and September
and 8.30am to 5.30pm in low season (except the museum, which is closed on Monday).
The two main archaeological sites - the Acropolis ( Click here ) and the Ascelpion - are
on top of steep hills, several kilometres out of town.
