popular four-hour guided walk around Sultanahmet and the Bazaar District. The 'Home
Cooked İstanbul' tour includes a no-frills dinner with a local family in their home and a
visit to a neighbourhood teahouse.

Every accommodation style is available in İstanbul. You can live like a sultan in a world-
class luxury hotel, or relax in a boutique establishment.
During low season (October to April, but not around Christmas or Easter) you should
be able to negotiate a discount of at least 20% on the price. Before you confirm any book-
ing, ask if the hotel will give you a discount for cash payment (usually 5% or 10%),
whether a pick-up from the airport is included (it often is if you stay more than three
nights) and whether there are discounts for extended stays.
