Haliç ferries leave Eminönü roughly every hour from 10.45am to 8pm; the last ferry returns from Hasköy at 8pm.
Golden Horn (Haliç) İskelesi ferry dock is on the western side of the Galata Bridge, behind a car park next to the St-
orks building. Boats often also call at Karaköy, across the Golden Horn from Eminönü.
Older children will enjoy the ferry trip down the Bosphorus, particularly if it's combined with a visit to the fort-
ress of Rumeli Hisarı (

) - beware of the steep stairs here, which have no barriers.
In Sultanahmet, there are
playgrounds
in Kadırga Park, near Little Aya Sofya, and in Gülhane Park (

). In Beyoğlu, there's one right at the water's edge, next to the Fındıklı tram stop and a
çay bahçesi;
it's very scenic,
but be sure to watch your toddlers carefully!
