File Manager
As an operating system, Android is set up so that the typical user rarely needs to understand
or navigate the basic file system. However, what if you ever want to take your phone beyond
a device where you simply install and use apps? What if you want to organize your files
into specific folders to keep them together? Using the File Manager app, you can take an-
droid and navigate it's file system from its folder or directory hierarchy. If you frequently
use windows, then you will see the immediate similarities with opening up My Computer or
the Windows File Explorer.
Beyond that, they've been updating File Manager to have more comprehensive features as
well. If you're concerned about the space on your phone, it can analyze your folders and
find which ones hold the largest volume of data. It also keeps track of your files by categor-
ies including images, audio, docs, videos, and new files so you can find them without dig-
