Hearthstone
What is Hearthstone?
If you don't already know, Hearthstone is a trading card game made into an online video
game based on the Warcraft universe . In the game, you choose a hero and construct a deck
of 30 cards in order to defeat your opponents hero. There are creature cards and spell cards
which each have their own effects and statistics. First player to reach 0 health loses the
match. The game makes money when users purchase adventures to face off against bosses
for specific rewards and booster packs but all game content can also be earned just by play-
ing the game for in-game gold currency. To this day, all core game content can be earned
without spending a time if you play enough, but the option to spend money is always there.
Contrary to other popular trading card games, it's actually very simple and accessible to any-
one since it's also free-to-play. The official site does an excellent job of explaining the game
in more detail so I recommend that you check that out here .
There's a Mobile Version?
Playing video games has become a hobby that many if not most Android owners partake in
at least in the casual sense. It's no secret that the Android market is loaded with different
types of games to tap into that market. A good portion of those games tend to be cheap
knockoffs or money grabs though. Up until the last couple years, gaming on a phone or tablet
has not come close to the same experience as a desktop computer, home console, or Nin-
tendo 3ds. Now that the power of our phones and tablets have started catching up to speed
though, many games are now very possible to run on those devices. One of those games,
which is currently one of the most popular computer games for good reason, is Hearthstone.
Earlier this year, the mobile version of Hearthstone was released to Android tablets and it's
been out on iPad for a bit longer. Coming very soon is the Android phone version of Hearth-
stone which will feature an optimized interface for mobile phones.
The Rundown
There are many games on Android, but they tend to either have simple with
little depth, require spending in order to progress, or are loaded with popup
advertisements.
