There's a very good chance that you bought this eBook from Amazon or a site that's very
similar to it. Amazon, like most major online retailers serious about making a profit, has an
alternate mobile layout to the website. However, browsing websites is still not the smooth
experience on a phone as it is on a computer. It takes a little while to type in a URL and
pages may take a while to load when on 3g. The Amazon Mobile app does a good job of
presenting the Amazon store for mobile devices in ways that the mobile website doesn't. For
instance, Android's menu systems are very easy to navigate even with a phone and since a lot
of data is stored in the app itself, you don't get the same lag you get when loading the web-
site directly. Amazon even encourages users to download the app by having a link whenever
a visitor comes on a mobile device.
