Other Mobile Brands
In the last few years, Windows has entered the marketplace to compete with Android and
Apple phones and tablets as well. Although they've managed to gain a few percentage in
market share which is greater than any other competitor, they do not have the same deve-
loper backing as the Android and Apple marketplaces at the moment. Many people have not
enjoyed the new look Microsoft has been using across their Windows OS interfaces in all
forms these last few years as well.
Other brands like Blackberry have either struggled to hold up in the global market or were
never close to the scale of Apple and Google in the first place. Although most mobile phones
and tablets are fundamentally the same in most areas, when you use a device built on an
unpopular operating system then you give up the number of physical devices you have to
choose from and the number of consistently maintained mobile applications.
