Trim Body
You can trim a solid with a surface using the
Trim Body
command. For example, you can
trim the solid shown in figure using a surface, and create a complex face on the top.
To trim solid using a surface, activate the
Trim Body
command (on the ribbon, click
Sur-
face > Surface Operations > Trim Body
) and select the target body. On the
Trim Body
dialog, click
Select Face or Plane
and select the tool body. If you want to reverse the trim
direction, then click the
Reverse Direction
button. Click
OK
.
