Offset Surface
To create an offset surface, activate the
Offset Surface
command (click
Surface > Surface
Operations > Offset Surface
on the ribbon) and select the faces to offset. Next, type-in a
value in the
Offset 1
box.
On the
Offset Surface
dialog, under the
Feature
section, select
Output > One Feature of
Each Face
to offset faces. This results in offset surfaces, which are detached, from each oth-
er.
Click
OK
to create the offset surfaces.
