Transition
This command creates a transition surface connecting two or more curves. Activate this
command (on the ribbon, click
Surface > Surface > More > Transition
) and select the first
curve. If you want to select tangentially connected curves, then select
Curve Rule > Tan-
gent Curves
on the
Top Border Bar
, and then select the curve. Click the middle mouse but-
ton and select the second curve string. Again, click the middle mouse button and select the
third curve string. The wireframe preview of the transition surface appears. If the transition
surface is self-intersecting, then click the
Reverse Direction
button. Click
OK
to complete
the transition surface.
Bridge Surface
The
Bridge Surface
command creates a surface bridging two surfaces. This can be tangent,
or curvature, continuous in both the directions. To create a bridge surface, activate the
Bridge Surface
(On the ribbon, click
Surface > Surface > Blend Gallery > Bridge Sur-
face
) and select the first and second edges.
