Then, of course, there is the spectacular new Antinori cellar in Bargino, ground-break-
ing in design - quite literally: An entire hillside in the heart of Chianti Classico was dug
up, a designer cellar was popped inside and earthed over, and new vines were planted
leaving just two giant slashes (the panoramic terraces of the 26,000 sq metre building) vis-
ible from the opposite rolling Chianti hill.
