roadside inn serves traditional Tuscan dishes in its pretty garden and downstairs bar/din-
ing room. The menu changes monthly, reflecting what is in season. Find it 5km south of
Panzano in Chianti on the SP2 to Radda in Chianti. Bookings are advisable.

Osteria di Passignano

7.30-10pm Mon-Sat) This elegant dining room on the Antinori Estate at Badia a Passignano
has long been one of Tuscany's most glamorous dining destinations. Dishes utilise local
produce and are decidedly Tuscan in inspiration, but could be overly fussy for some
diners. It's no surprise that the wine list is mighty impressive, with Antinori offerings
aplenty (by glass €7 to €35).
