PLANNING
Travelling with children involves little extra predeparture planning. Your most important decisions
will be about accommodation. We highly recommend that you consider staying in agriturismi (farm
stay accommodation) and country villas, as these often offer kid-friendly activities such as swimming,
tennis, horse-riding and mountain biking. Many also have restaurants, which can be a godsend after a
big day out and about.
