the agenda differs depending on the degree of cognitive disability of the user, showing
less information and in a simpler way in case that disability is moderate or advanced and
the probabilities of disorientation are higher. Even with assistive support, unexpected
situations may arise in daily live, and when that happens is desirable that the elder user
is able to get help when needed. Thus, there exists the Help Assistance service, that lets
the user request for help using the interface, that triggers a SMS to the caregiver and
provides the user a soothing message foretelling the incoming help. This service not
only acts reactively, but also does it proactively for instance when the biometric sensors
on the user provide readings under defined thresholds, an alarm SMS is also triggered.
Finally, the Tutorial service is conceived as a user assistant, guiding him/her on how
to carry out daily activities such as housekeeping or cooking according to his impair-
ment defined in the user profile of disability. Taking the profile as a point of start, we
can determine which kind of activities need support for the user, and how this support
should be shown to the user. Not all the users will be able to understand vocal intruc-
tions or understand icons/symbols. The tutorial service must be prepared to adapt itself
the contents depending on the user and the user's evolution through time. We want the
ADL tutoring service capable of adapting dynamically to the changing needs and per-
formance of these users, providing them with the level of assistance they require on
every situation.
The Vehicle Agent ( VA ) is located in the different robotic vehicle platforms devel-
oped for SHARE-it like the i-Walker . It is intended to keep track of different status
indicators (stability, detection of falls, battery charge level, CPU usage of modules,
hardware failures, ...) and to offer several navigation services. Part of the monitoriza-
tion tasks of the agent is to get feed from information supplied by the ea that keeps
track of all the environmental sensorization including localization. SHARE-it assumes a
