Of the restaurants that line
the seafront, Ristorante Pizzeria Royale is an excellent midrange option. Like everywhere
in Giardini it's touristy, but the food is decent and the atmosphere friendly. There is a
range of seafood pastas and grilled meat and fish, but it's the pizzas that really stand out -
served bubbling hot straight from the wood-fired oven.

Regular services run between Giardini-Naxos and
Taormina's bus station, stopping at the train station en route.
TRAIN
Giardini shares its train station with Taormina. It's situated at the northern end of the
seafront, about 10 minutes' walk from the town centre.
