BUS
Buses depart from outside the train station regularly from Monday to Saturday, with occa-
sional Sunday services. SAIS ( www.saistrasporti.it ) travels to Palermo (€5.70, one hour, five
Monday to Friday, four Saturday) and Castelbuono (€2.60, 40 minutes, six Monday to
Saturday, one Sunday). Lombardo & Glorioso ( 0921 92 36 48; www.lombardoeglorioso.it ) also oper-
ates one daily bus to/from Castelbuono. Sommatinese ( 0921 42 43 01; www.sommatinese.it ) oper-
ates a local service to Gibilmanna (25 minutes, 13 Monday to Saturday, four Sunday).
CAR & MOTORCYCLE
Cefalù is situated just off the A20-E90 toll road that travels between Messina and
Palermo. To hire a bike, Vespa or motorbike, try Scooter for Rent ( 0921 42 04 96;

PARKING
Finding a car park can be a nightmarish challenge in summer. Try the convenient car park-
ing next to the train station (€2 for the first two hours and €1 every extra hour) or on the
lungomare .
TRAIN
Regular services go to Palermo (from €5.15, 45 minutes to 1¼ hours, 15 Monday to
Saturday, 11 on Sunday) and virtually every other town on the coast.
