Teatro di Verdura

in the lovely gardens of the Villa Castelnuovo, about 6km north of the city centre. Take
Viale della Liberta' to Viale Diana to Viale del Fante. There's a delightful open-air bar
that opens during shows.

Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa
( 091 652 49 42; Via Paolo Gili 4) West of the centre, this newly renovated industrial space has
recently emerged as Palermo's trendiest contemporary and experimental arts venue, with
frequent live performances and a brand-new modern art gallery, ZAC (Zona Arti Contem-
poranee), which opened in December 2012.
