fect area for exploring on
foot. Good nightlife and din-
ing options.
Very touristy and noisy. Some
rooms are small, lack windows.
EL RAVAL
Central option, with good
local nightlife and access to
sights. Bohemian vibe with
few tourists.
Can be noisy, seedy and run-
down in parts. Feels unsafe to
walk late at night.
LA RIBERA

neighbourhood exploring.
Central with top sights.
Can be noisy, overly crowded
and touristy.
BARCELONETA &
THE
WATERFRONT
Excellent seafood restaurants,
easy-going vibe and handy

of Barceloneta, it's far from the
action and aimed at business
travellers.
LA SAGRADA
FAMÍLIA &
L'EIXAMPLE
Close to Modernista sights
with good restaurants and
nightlife. Prime gay scene.
Can be very noisy with lots of
traffic. Not great for walking. A
little far from the Ciutat Vella.

Somewhat out of the way. Can
be a bit gritty up by El Sants
train station.
PARK GÜELL,
CAMP NOU & LA
ZONA ALTA
Youthful, local scene with
lively restaurants and bars.
Far from the Ciutat Vella with
few hotels. La Zona Alta is
