In-Depth Information
Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya
Whichever direction you are coming from, it is worth making the effort to reach this huge
ochre beast of a museum ( Click here ) to see one of Europe's finest collections of
Romanesque art, salvaged from countless churches and chapels sprinkled over northern
Catalonia. Further collections range from Gothic to Modernista.
Font Màgica
Descending from the museum past the Plaça de les Cascades to the Font Màgica ( Click
here ) is as magic as the name suggests, particularly if you've stretched this walk long
enough (easily done) to arrive here after dark - in time for the rather splendid sound and
light show.
