This microcosmic Spanish 'village' was the brainchild of Modernista architect Josep Puig i
Cadafalch and is a bit like an all-Castilian Disneyland. Every region of Spain is architectur-
ally represented, from Andalucía to the Basque Country. Village-like streets and plazas,
full-scale replicas of famous buildings, craft workshops (pottery, glassmaking, textiles) and
half a dozen restaurants (and a popular nightclub) mean you won't run out of things to do.
