In-Depth Information
Casa Llopis i Bofill
Casa Llopis i Bofill is an interesting block of flats designed by Antoni Gallissà. The
graffiti-covered facade is particularly striking. The use of parabolic arches on the ground
floor is a clear Modernista touch, as are the wrought-iron balconies.
La Sagrada Família
Strolling around La Sagrada Família ( Click here ) , you'll notice the wildly different
styles of the Nativity Facade, completed during Gaudí's lifetime, and the Passion Facade,
designed by Josep Maria Subirachs in the 1980s. Other key things to look for: the Risen
Christ teetering halfway up the Passion Facade, eight completed belltowers with a differ-
ent apostle seated at each and the image of Gaudí himself in the Passion Facade.
