Created out of largely
abandoned docks, this buzzing shopping centre, with its bars, restaurants and cinemas, is
pleasant enough for a stroll virtually in the middle of the old harbour. The usual labels are
on hand, including the youthful Spanish chain Mango, mega-retailer H&M and eye-catch-
ing fashions from Barcelona-based Desigual.
Waterfront Markets
On weekends, Port Vell springs to life with a handful of markets selling a mix of an-
tiques, contemporary art and crafts at key points along the waterfront.
