There are approximately 450 species of aquatic animals in this water-side aquarium, but it's
the sharks that leave the biggest impression. An 80m-long underwater tunnel keeps the
beasts at bay behind worryingly thin Plexiglas. After you've scared the wits out of the kids,
calm them down in the museum's Mediterranean-themed interactive section. Afterwards,
you can take a scenic stroll along Barcelona's revitalised Port Vell.
