La Pedrera ( Click here )
Astonishing architectural works dominate L'Eixample. The area was a blank canvas for
some of Spain's finest buildings, erected in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. At La
Pedrera, one of Gaudí's masterpieces, you'll find classic Gaudí flourishes: an undulating
cliff-like facade, wildly sculpted wrought-iron balconies and cavern-like parabolic arches.
On the rooftop, you can clamber beneath much-photographed chimney pots.
