Long hidden in the slum alleys of El Raval, this was
writer Manuel Vázquez Montalbán's favourite restaurant. Several rambling dining areas in
this 1929 classic have magnificent tiled walls and exposed beam ceilings. The mostly sea-
food menu is extensive and the wine list strong.
