La Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia is a riot of Gothic and gargoyles, high altars
and murky crypts, Catalan legends and 13 resident geese. Like many Spanish churches, it is
a hybrid - the 14th-century shell has been overlaid by a 19th-century neo-Gothic facade - a
