La Rambla & Barri Gòtic Highlights
Snaking its way through the Ciutat Vella, this 1.2km-long boulevard is always awhirl with
activity. There are street performers, food and drink stalls, souvenir stands and a pastiche of
architectural intrigue lining both sides of the street. Come early in the morning to see La
Rambla at its most serene, then return later to the people-packed lane to see it in all its car-
nivalesque glory.
