The best option in town - though fairly subdued by any account - is El Ceibo, conveni-
ently located downtown in a private, secure cul-de-sac (100m east of the park). Simple but
functional rooms all come with fans and nice touches like reading lamps, and some have
balconies with forest views. In the sky-lit dining room, tuck into some Italian pasta and
wine.

Pizzería Liliana PIZZA

This great spot for Italian fare offers more than a dozen different kinds of pizza, all of
which are made from scratch. The lovely mountain views and old-world environs make
this a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. It's 50m west of the park.

Getting There & Away

BUS
The main Tracopa bus terminal ( GOOGLE MAP ; 2773-3410) is about 150m down the

road to Sabalito from downtown.
San Isidro US$7.85; three hours; departs 6:45am and 1:30pm.
San José US$13.45; seven hours; departs 5am, 7:30am, 10am and 3pm.
A local bus terminal at the northwest end of town runs buses to Neily and other destina-
tions.
Neily US$1.50; 1½ hours; departs 4:45am, 5:30am, 7:30am, 9am, 11am, 2pm, 3pm and
5:30pm.
Río Sereno US$1.60; 30 minutes; departs 7am, 10am, 1pm and 4pm.
