Since this unpretentious seafood spot is usually slammed at lunchtime, it's best to come
during off hours for its several daily varieties of
ceviche,
fresh fish or shrimp prepared as
you like it, and pastas, burgers, salads and soups. The crowd of local clientele not-so-

Set in an old Tico house, this bohemian cafe features eclectic artwork, an open kitchen and

businesspeople all day and a mix of locals, visitors and expats for boozy cultural exchange

Getting There & Away
BUS
In San Isidro the local bus terminal (known as Mercado) is on Av 6 and serves nearby vil-
lages. Long-distance buses leave from points near the Interamericana and are frequently
packed, so buy tickets early. Note that buses heading south to Golfito or Ciudad Neily will
go through Palmar Norte.
From Terminal Tracopa
You will find Terminal Tracopa on the Interamericana, just southwest of Av Central.
