In-Depth Information
If the water is looking glassy, this hauntingly stylish beach cafe is the place to hang out.
Minimalist slanted wood chairs are planted in the sand beneath thatched umbrellas. A tree-
stump bar overlooks an open kitchen, where the beachy cuisine is tops. In case you're
wondering, Lola was an enormous and lovable pig, aka the queen of Avellanas. She has
since passed, but her legacy lives on in 'little' Lolita!

rambling collection of colorful cabins on stilts that are frequented by both surfers and
howlers. In the middle of it all is a rickety pavilion where guests swing in hammocks and
devour pizza. Bathroom facilities are shared.

These stylish, minimalist digs upstairs from the cafe have polished concrete floors and el-
evated beds dressed with colorful bedspreads and other artistic touches. There's a groovy
shared deck with plush lounges and an inviting swimming pool. The downstairs cafe

perfect French preparations, such as mahi baked with preserved lemon and rosemary,
slow-braised shortrib and duck confit.
