Los Platillos Voladores ITALIAN

This new Italian carry-out joint has opened to rave reviews, serving homemade pastas,
roast chickens and fresh salads. It's mostly Italian - the eggplant Parmesan is delectable -
but the rotating menu features a variety of fish, chicken and meat dishes. If you have
nowhere to go, you can enjoy your food on the patio overlooking the lake.
Las Delicias SODA

A cheap and cheerful soda near the top of the hill as you approach town, with ample
wooden-table seating. It does Western-style breakfasts, pasta dishes, quesadillas and
grilled steaks on the cheap, but it's known for its casados .
Tom's Pan BAKERY

Better known as 'the German bakery', thanks to the signs that litter the lake road, this
landmark is a famous rest stop for road-trippers heading to TilarĂ¡n. Its breads, strudels and
cakes are all homemade. It also has German sausages, sandwiches and beer. Surprisingly
pricey for the setting.
Sunset Grill PUB

American owned and patronized, Sunset Grill is an inviting open-air bar known for its fun,
friendly atmosphere and good selection of bourbons. Big breakfasts, burgers and pub fare
are on the menu.
