Unlike the fly-by view you'll get on a zip-line canopy tour, a walk along the hanging
bridges allows you to explore the rainforest and canopy from six suspended bridges and 10
traditional bridges at a more natural and peaceful pace. The longest swaying bridge is 97m
long and the highest is 25m above the earth. All are accessible from a single 3km trail that
winds through a tunnel and skirts a waterfall.
Reservations are required for guided bird-watching tours or informative naturalist tours.
The TilarĂ¡n bus can drop you off at the entrance, but it's a 3km climb from the bus stop.
There are also loads of tours from La Fortuna.
La Roca Canyoneering CANYONEERING

rope, swimming and snacking are packed into this adrenaline-pumping half-day tour.
Make sure you bring a change of clothes, as you will get wet. La Roca is 4km from the
dam, but it also has an office in La Fortuna at Sunset Tours .
