Take a talented New York-trained chef and put him in a kitchen with drop-dead-gorgeous
views of the ocean, and you've got yourself a winner of a restaurant. This stunning,
thatched wooden dining room is the place to come for giant, juicy steaks and super-fresh
seafood, cooked to make your mouth water and your head spin. Whatever they've got is on
the chalkboard.
Getting There & Away
Buses (US$1.50) make the 30-minute run between the La Cruz bus terminal and the vil-
lage of Jobó three times a day in either direction. A taxi to the beaches costs about US$16
to US$20.
To get to Playa Jobó, take the road past Bolaños Bay Resort for about 2km. It dead ends
at the beach. For Playa Rajada, double back to the main road, make a right (away from La
Cruz) and veer right again at the Mini Super in El Jobó; 3km later the road ends at the
beach.
