Always ask permission to take someone's photo.
With the prominence of digital cameras, it is increasingly difficult to purchase high-quality
film in Costa Rica.
Most internet cafes can burn your digital pictures onto a CD, and cheap media is avail-
able for purchase in most large towns and cities.
Post
Mailing smaller parcels (less than 2kg) internationally is quite reliable; for example, a 1kg
package costs around US$16 to ship to North America and takes one to three weeks to
arrive.
EMS (Express Mail Service) courier service costs a bit more but includes tracking and is
speedier.
