Le Parc Suite Hotel Situated on a quiet, tree-lined residential street, Le Parc is
a sophisticated and stylish all-suite hotel that attracts an inter esting mix of clientele:
Designers stay here because it's a few minutes' walk to the Pacific Design Center; celebri-
ties in the music industry stay because of its low-key neighborhood location; patients and
medical consultants check in because it 's close to Cedars-Sinai; and tourists enjoy being
near the Farmers Market, the B everly Center, and Museum Row. The newly renovated
apartment-like units ar e extra large, and each has a w ell-outfitted kitchenette, a dining
area, a living room with a fireplace, and a balcony. What the hotel lacks in views it makes
up for in v alue and elbo wroom, and the r ooftop night-lit tennis cour t is a rar e perk in
this area. The hotel's intimate bistr o-style restaurant, Knoll, is a hidden gem, offering
very good contemporar y American cuisine and r omantic alfresco seating at the r ooftop
dining area.

The Mosaic Hotel Beverly Hills Finds I've seen hundreds of hotel renova-

hotel. The owners pumped in $3 million to o verhaul the former B everly Hills Inn, and
the result is spectacular . The lobby is a sho wcase of functional ar t, with gleaming tile
mosaics; fabrics in deep , rich tones; and a pr ofusion of ar tfully arranged or chids. The
guest r ooms ar e equally impr essive, all done in soothing ear th tones with 300-count
