existence.
And the most solemn and revered of all is the Buddha lying full length. Sometimes
the head rests on folded hands; sometimes the head is slightly raised, resting on a crooked
elbow and upturned palm. This is the Buddha slipping away from existence, preparing to
achieve Nirvana.
